Logistics for The Clarence 100 - 2019

C100 Participants are welcome to follow their own travel and logistic plan in transition from start to finish of the event. Everyone has different logistics to consider

For out of town participants this plan worked best for those last year.

  1. Pre book accommodation for Thursday night and Friday night in Grafton.
  2. Pre book accommodation for Saturday night and Sunday night in Yamba
  3. Thursday 8th at 1800hrs report to Roches Family Hotel, Victoria St Grafton for event briefing, late registration and T-shirt pick up.
  4. Friday 9th, Support vehicle and driver to transport paddler and craft to start of stage 1, Copmanhurst. (Drive time 35 minutes from Grafton).
  5. Stage briefing at 0600hrs for Start stage 1 at  0630hrs (social) 0700hrs (competitve)
  6. Support vehicle proceeds to Check Point 1 at Big River Holiday Park and Ski lodge, 30km –see map.
  7. Expected finish time stage 1, approximately 1200 hrs at Grafton Rowing Club, 40 km
  8. Lunch and stage 1 debrief at the Crown Hotel, Grafton.
  9. Afternoon and evening rest, enjoy local hospitality.
  10. Saturday 10th at 0600 hrs report to Grafton Rowing Club ramp for stage 2 briefing
  11. Start Stage 2 at 0630hrs (social) 0700hrs (competitve)
  12. Support vehicle proceeds to Ulmarra Hotel, Ulmarra. 20 km Check Point 2
  13. Expected finish time stage 2, approximately 1200hrs at Lower Clarence River Rowing Club ramp, Maclean, 40km.
  14. Lunch and Stage 2 debrief Lower Clarence River Rowing Club, Maclean.
  15. Afternoon evening rest, enjoy local hospitality.
  16. Sunday 11th at 0700hrs report to Lower Clarence River Rowing Club ramp for stage 3
  17. Start stage 3 at 0730hrs (all paddlers)
  18.  Expected finish time stage 3, approximately 1100 hrs at Whiting Beach (East end) Yamba
  19. All event participants report to Yamba Surf Club for Event presentation at 1200hrs and lunch. 
  20. All event participants after the presentations then proceed to Pacific Hotel Yamba onwards for the well earned recovery session. And don’t forget to enjoy the local hospitality.
