RELAY Option

Introducing the C100 relay option for 2020. Yourself and a partner can work together as a team getting the full experience by paddling each day but doing halve the distance. This a great option for family teams, Club teams, friend teams, work teams and school teams

 Format

The   relay format consists of 2 members. (MM, F/F, MF) of any combined ages. Each stage is divided into 2 legs. Each leg is approximately half the stage distance. The relay event means 6 legs. Each paddler must complete a total of 3 legs comprised of   one leg from each stage in any order.  Paddlers can vary the order to suit their circumstances as the event progresses.

There is no restriction to order provided each paddler completes half the course distance by completing one leg from each stage. Start paddler tags with finishing paddler at each tag out point throughout course.  Combined accumulated time counts as total time for event. Each team will be assigned one boat number. Craft used must be the same class of vessel. E.g. a Spec ski paddler must paddle with another Spec Ski paddler.

Stage 1, Leg 1 =20km/ leg 2 =20km

Stage 2 Leg 3= 20km/ leg 4= 20km

Stage 3, Leg 5=11 km/ leg 6= 15km
